IAM 751 Ramp Build is a volunteer program run by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District Lodge 751 Local 86, 1951 and 1123 where members build wheelchair ramps for people in need around Eastern Washington, primarily focusing on building temporary ramps for those with mobility challenges; essentially, it’s a community service initiative where union members use their skills to provide accessibility to individuals who require ramps at their homes.
